Pastimes
a group for anyone who wants to come for company, chat, activities.
We are a friendly gathering of any parishioner, young or older, who wants to come for a cuppa, a chat, or any activity you would like!
We meet every Tuesday in the Parish Centre, immediately after the lunchtime Mass. Activities currently are Scrabble, Rummikubs, and knitting, but we are open to play any other games that you would like! Some of us knit, some of us are creative and do embroidery or make cards. We also have lots of Jigsaw puzzles. We have a Bridge table and the appropriate cards but no-one plays at the moment. Would you like to start a Bridge group?
There is no need to "join", just come along and see!
The Winter Sale this year will be held in the Parish Centre on Saturday 10th November from 11-4pm. The Sale will continue on Sunday after the Remembrance Sunday Mass, from 12.45 pm. With your help we hope to beat last year's fundraising total of just over £1300.00!
